Starting high school, Eva started performing public speech, taking the first place during the first year in the State of Guanajuato. Ever since then, she was a natural, her father always helped her getting involved in politics to make her speak before crowds, welcoming important politicians. One of the most important events she hosted was one made for the politic party leader Cuauhtemoc Cárdenas, at age 10. When she was 14, her parents decided to move to Durango, where she started her third year of middle school. Eva García kept going onto poetry contests, but this time she chose composition, in which she made school first place as well. But it wasn't until some friends invited her to participate in a play that she started on acting, just to keep on going with Theatre workshop, with professor Victor Hugo Galván, current Director of broadcasting in Culture Institute of the State of Durango (ICED), with whom she played role in various plays such as: "El instituto Ecuménico", "Tommy", "Romeo y Julieta" among others, all of these in one of the most important theatres in the city of Durango: Teatro Victoria. The most successful and Eva's personal favorite among the mentioned above was "El instituto Ecuménico", where she starred as a very interesting character, named "chatarra" (junk). In García Luna's words: "El Instituto Ecuménico is a play about all those charity organizations, that are supposed to exist to help the ones in need, but instead, they use it to get donations by using people in need to cause pity. It's a very interesting and controversial topic."During high school, she gets involved on dancing workshops such as jazz and hip-hop.At age 18 she moved to Monterrey to study Communication Sciences at Tecnologico de Monterrey, in order to get a full perspective about the behind-the-camera business and complement her actress career. This was at the same age when she started studying and practicing Belly Dance, discipline she would perform for the next years, participating in shows in Monterrey, Mexico City and Durango. With the purpose of finding a good, professional acting school, at age 19, she learned English in England at Manchester University throughout a semester's period. She went back to Monterrey, where she kept on studying for her bachelor's degree until she decided to stay on theater, enough reason to travel to Mexico City where she enrolled in Luis Felipe Tovar school and ARGOS, better known as Casa Azul. She arranged to study at the Mexico City campus her Communication Sciences studies. This gave her the chance to make a Photo Book, get into casting agencies, make plays, and even be part of a music band named EVE. But arriving at Mexico City was not just about acting school, she started on castings and dancing contests. But as demanding as college was, especially in such a big city, her grades were affected, so she decided she would go back to Monterrey to finish her studies and get her degree.During college she went on study (field) trips that took her to New York and Los Angeles. She took advantage of these trips to search for acting schools. It was in LA where she would find where she wanted to study. When she got her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences on 2009, she went back to Los Angeles to study and practice her English on EF school, in Redondo Beach, so she would apply to acting schools, go to open houses, and finally, she decided to go to one of the most prestigious schools in the world of Acting: The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She didn't just like their technique, but also their philosophy: "If we cannot see the possibility of greatness, how can we dream it?" (Lee Strasberg). This was key for getting convincing her, and it is there where she finds out what she is really capable of. Discovering new areas she wasn't aware she could excel at, such as singing, leading her to perform in musical theatre plays like: "And the Winner Is", "Musical that Rocks", "For the Record" and "The Glory of Love" directed by Wendy Rosoff and Troy Rintala.Ever since attending to Strasberg, she has been participating in films such as "Solidarity" (USA) directed by Dustin Todd, "Cenicienta Rota" (Mexico) Directed by Andrei Maldonado, "Vicky, Christina Arecibo" (USA) directed by Nick Barr and recently "Ni aquí, ni allá" (México) directed by Pamela Velasquez. Singing in Armando Mendez Music Studio also in Monterrey and studying the Speech Level Singing method with Dave Stroud in Los Angeles, CA. Her first 2 singles where in English, "Thank You" and "Hot Caliente", written by herself. They were played in some radio stations in USA and México, but she was looking to improve, so she decided to make and record a full Album call "Merezco" in Spanish with 8 songs written by her and 2 cover songs. The first single of her Album that came out is "El Café" and is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, Claro Musica, among other digital stores and has been played in some radio stations in Mexico and USA getting into the Top Ten of a radio station in the city of Salamanca, Gto. Mexico. As well as her second single "Merezco", named just like the album got into this Top Ten getting topping at first place, even without being in stores yet. Also "El Café" was selected by Tunecore and Amazon Music to be part of a compilation for Valentine's day in the album "All About Love 2015" Vol.1 which is available to download in Amazon Music. She dreams on having her own entertainment company, being an international representative of the Latin American community and of the recognition as a great actress and a successful entrepreneur. But most of all, doing all of this just for the joy of it.Eva says: "I'm still on the track, and I like what I've lived so far. I'm proud of who I am and of the decisions I've made, and where they have taken me. It is true that nothing is easy, but when you enjoy it, you can enjoy every little moment of the way. Being always positive is my goal. I always say 'If others can do it, why not me?' so when they ask me 'How did you do it?' I just reply: "MY DREAMS ARE BIGGER THAN MY FEARS!"
