Description: Matt is an American actor residing in Northern New Jersey. Like most actors trying to break into the business, he started his career as a background actor in 1999. Acting for only a short period of time, he eventually took time off to pursue other endeavors. Realizing his dream to be an actor, he returned in 2009 in an HBO pitch series, The Life. Since his return, he has appeared in 40 films and television shows, as well as 2 theater productions. Most notably, with 12 appearances on Investigation Discovery Channel's numerous true crime programs including his 5th consecutive season in a lead role on The Perfect Murder in 2018. Matt considers his most exciting achievement to date to be his co-starring role in the short film The Curse of Don Scarducci acting alongside Alec Baldwin. As of 2018, the film continues to be screened in numerous festivals around the world, becoming a finalist and winning 2 awards, including "Best Ensemble Cast" Jury Award in the 2017 Reno Tahoe International Film Festival and "Best Short Screenplay" in the LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival. He also starred in the short film, Liber De Morte, which took 2nd Place in the Winter Film Awards 48 Hour Challenge in NYC.Matt has studied acting at The Simon Studio in NYC under Roger Hendricks Simon and at the The NJ School of Dramatic Arts under Beth Bauer and Robert Sapoff. He has a BS degree in Exercise Physiology and has been a personal trainer for over 30 years.
